Southern Exposures

The Valley Land Fund will be sponsoring Southern Exposures, 2010 Youth Nature Photo Contest. This contest is for youths 6 to 18 years of age and will feature images taken from the Rio Grande Valley area. The contest will run from June 1, 2010 to July 30, 2010. I as well as other local photographers will be conducting workshops for the participants to hone their skills in digital nature photography.

Fall in the Adirondacks

During a visit with my brother-in-law this October in Albany, NY, we were able to take a drive through the Adirondacks and visit friends on Lake George and Lake Champlain. Since we do not get fall colors down here in South Texas, I was amazed at the colors of the changing foliage.
